Lately, time has really stepped up its pace, challenging me to keep up. So here I am, totally on top of my game, posting about a training course that happened at the beginning of May. 'Never better than late,' or how does the saying go?
I had the pleasure of traveling to Romania to attend the Erasmus+ training course 'Design Thinking for Local Advocacy' in Bușteni, Romania. The course was organized by A.R.T Fusion Association and supported by the Romanian National Agency. The week was intense and interesting, bringing together 23 people from 9 different countries. Our facilitators did an amazing job listening to our stories and creating a system where we could find a structured path on how to advocate for local issues and concerns. I feel much more confident in terms of how to address and direct information in ways that will be the most influential. Of course, all the participants were very inspiring and made this week so memorable. Maybe we'll meet again someday while either trying to convince a very busy mayor or while rioting together on the streets. A little bit of civil disobedience is necessary as long as we are working together toward the right cause and all the 'good ways' have not borne fruit. You are wonderful, Romania! Until we meet again!
