The youth organization Seiklejate Vennaskond MTÜ wants to recruit new volunteer coordinators for its volunteer team - could you be one of them? Do you have a good idea that you would like to put into practice? Do you feel like you would like to gain new experiences, make new friends and do something for society? Participate in international projects? Learn to lead others and be a role model? If so, we have an offer just for you!
We involve volunteers on an ongoing basis. Contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our goal is to involve new volunteer coordinators in the activities of Seiklejate Vennaskond, who would either initiate new initiatives aimed at young people in their hometowns, organize information days about the possibilities of volunteer work or contribute to the development of civil society. Volunteers would also act as a network that transmits information aimed at young people (and sometimes seniors) in their community and on social media. Volunteer coordinators are given a three-day training to prepare them, set specific goals and prepare a plan to involve young people. Experts and lecturers will also be present. After the training, the volunteers will carry out various initiatives and events in their homes, where we plan to involve more than 300 people. An analysis meeting is held to analyze the activities, during which the activities that have taken place are analyzed, volunteers are recognized and plans are made for new initiatives. All activities are supported by the project manager and a support team of volunteers.
Our goal is to involve volunteer coordinators who would help coordinate events aimed at young people and involve them in various activities such as:
Organization of international youth exchanges, the aim of which would be to deal with some topical issues important at the European level and to increase the competences of the participating young people in this field
To undertake new youth initiatives that would help to create more varied leisure opportunities for young people in smaller places or to deal with solving some local problems
Distribute information aimed at young people in their hometown and through social media in order to involve young people in various activities, to whom the information currently does not reach
Attend meetings to initiate new initiatives related to organizational goals
To organize information events, the purpose of which would be to value volunteer work, and to make young people and seniors aware of various volunteer work opportunities in Estonia and abroad (e.g. European Voluntary Service, Grundtvig Senior Voluntary Service) and recognition of voluntary work (Youth Passport, Volunteer Passport, etc.).
Involve young people in an environmental campaign aimed at raising awareness of global environmental challenges and climate warming
Supporting young people in their endeavors, motivating and encouraging them
What we offer volunteer coordinators:
The opportunity to work in a pleasant team with like-minded people and acquire the necessary skills for a coordinator, which ensure the ability and skills to lead young people
The opportunity to participate in a FREE three-day training, where experts in their field will be present, who will talk about volunteering in general, different ways to get support for your ideas, and the role of a coordinator/manager in a narrower sense
Preference to participate in international youth exchanges as a group leader in projects where the Seiklejate Vennaskond is a partner
Take part in international trainings and seminars in Estonia and abroad aimed at active young people and youth leaders
Constant professional support and advice in the implementation of your ideas by the project team
The opportunity to volunteer abroad as a priority and support in finding a suitable project (in Europe, Asia, Africa or South America)
Be part of a strong network and meet regularly with other coordinators
Create useful contacts with private sector companies and their managers by coordinating/initiating activities in your home location
Receive a certificate recognizing volunteer work and, if necessary, a recommendation in your CV

Ambitious and eager to learn
