Jobshadowing in Croatia

I am Saffet Bayhan. I am from Türkiye, and I’m 32 years old. I represent Diyarbakır Çevre ve Kalkınma Derneği for the KA2 project named Taking Action: Together against discrimination which was accepted by the Estonian National agency.
​I went to Croatia on behalf of my organization for job shadowing. I would like to thank Lumen organization for the hospitality and all the arrangement. Together with our partner, we have realized 4 job shadowing sessions with people from different countries cultures and age range. Luckily we came across to some youth Exchange projects during our sessions and we reached young people and youth workers to get their ideas about our topic. During our sessions, we separated the participants into groups including 4/5 people. We asked them to think about their heroes and heroines. I mean people who has been a role model for hem and what makes them our heroes no matter what their gender is. As a second sessions we made some brainstorming activities which will make them think about gender equality and the outcomes were amazing. I would like to thank everyone who made us have this chance to reach around 70 people and change their ideas about such important topics. I hope that so many projects like this will be carried out in the near future and we will have a better world to live in.
