Noortevahetus "Chop chop" Hollandis

Our incredible project took place in the charming town of Ommen, Netherlands, spanning from June 29th to July 10th. The Estonian group, consisting of five enthusiastic individuals, embarked on a remarkable journey that left a lasting impression on us. Throughout our adventure, we encountered moments of sheer delight and excitement, as well as instances where we faced challenges.

Our time in the Netherlands revolved around the delightful combination of cooking and dancing. Each day, we eagerly embraced masterchef-like challenges, immersing ourselves in the art of culinary creations. The friendly competition allowed us to accumulate points based on our cooking skills, fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendly rivalry among the participants.

One of the highlights of our experience was the thrilling challenge that unfolded before us. We were scattered across various locations in the Netherlands, entrusted with the task of finding suitable accommodations for the night while accomplishing a series of diverse tasks. Despite encountering the storm of the century during this adventure, we persevered and triumphed together, showcasing our resilience and teamwork.

As the project drew to a close, we took pride in organizing a vibrant food festival, open to the local community. Within a tight timeframe of 24 hours, we successfully prepared and served our delectable national dishes to an enthusiastic crowd of 100 people. It was an exhilarating and demanding undertaking, but in the end, our efforts were rewarded with the shared joy and satisfaction of seeing everyone savoring the food and relishing the delightful atmosphere we created.
